I made a little back story for my character – with over 15 years of service in the USC, a botched operation in to the commonwealth sectors has lead the USC to frame the operation as a rouge mission and blame the loss of Terran, Argon and Boron lives onto yourself. This is my personal setup to make the game much more challenging/ rewarding at the start of the game, you can choose your own setups with the custom starts script.
All of the rep for the races to -200 except Xenon, Pirates and Yaki to - 10000. I start as a Terran Commander and change my ship to the scimitar, have the load out changed to minimal, credits to 1000 and location to lost colony rear guard (lost colony expansion). In my game start I have used the custom starts script to change my loadout. I have yet to check out the other missions but the other mods for Terran Revitalization are all worth the install.įor The Pirate Guild and Yaki armada 2 I set them to high/ 10 and Foe to the player. This mod adds a lore friendly mission to the game with an interesting story. The side effect of this is that if you destroy one of their ships in another race’s sector, you will lose reputation with that race.įor the Main Menu Scene Pack I usually choose No.5 as it has the least load time on the game especially if you have a lower end system.įor Terran Revitalization I highly suggest that you install pretty much all of the addons including but not limited to Stealing Logi. The Phanon Corp fix removes the issue where ships just sit dead in space. Phanon Corp Fix: - !Asr7k76nk3PVorIORpRRpCEPDLsv_Q They are great and I highly suggest that you have a look at them. In no way am I trying to trash on the overhaul mods. I really like the lore of the X-universe so the aim of this post is to try and appeal to those people who are not particularly invested in the big overhaul mods but are also keen on lore. I have tried the overhaul mods but there is something that just doesn't do it for me. I thought that I would create a list of mods that I use for my game.
